Mary is an Irish and EU Trade Mark Attorney. Leading the Irish office of leading brand advisory firm Stobbs, she helps businesses grow and monetize distinctive, legally robust, commercially valuable brands.
Mary manages Irish and international client portfolios across a variety of sectors, spanning hospitality, entertainment, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, fashion, manufacturing, craft and retail sectors.
Mary is a committee member for the European Communities Trademark Association, and sits on the technical committee on Innovation Management for the National Standards Authority of Ireland. She contributed to developing the ISO 56000 framework of innovation management standards, which offer organizations guidance on implementing, maintaining and improving innovation management systems.
Mary is a regular speaker at events in the Local Enterprise Offices and Enterprise Ireland, as well as a lecturer for several universities, and is a popular speaker on topics ranging from innovation, intellectual property, copyright and AI, and women in leadership.
