Lisa Lynch, Senior R&D Manager, Boston Scientific

Lisa is currently Senior Manager of R&D at Boston Scientific, where she leads a team of 20, focusing on collaborations with global cardiologists for improved patient outcomes. Her work includes 3D printing, complex heart valve case support in hospitals, and supporting physician education through peer-reviewed publications and conference content.

Lisa is deeply committed to DE&I and has co-founded the Migrant Collective Galway, which has won three national awards. She has also moderates Boston Scientific's International Women’s Day 2025 events and taken part in several industry discussions and roundtables on women in STEM and managing R&D in MedTech.

Lisa serves as an industry representative on the interview board for chemistry roles at ATU and provides industry feedback on multiple courses to align with future industry needs. Her honours and awards include the Boston Scientific Global Excellence Award for Heart Valve research, multiple leadership awards, and recognition for her community contributions, including the Galway Mayor Awards for Community Services and Social Inclusion.

Through her volunteer work, professional engagement, and STEM advocacy, Lisa continues to drive positive change in her community and industry, demonstrating her dedication to social impact, advancing patient care, and fostering educational growth. Lisa holds a B.Sc. Pharmaceutical Science and an M.Sc. Research in Chemical Engineering, both from ATU.
