John Kilmartin is a MedTech executive supporting medical technology companies to develop their regulatory, clinical and market access strategies. He also works as a strategic industry advisor to a number of healthcare and consulting organizations. John has worked in the medical technology industry for almost 30 years and his most recent direct industry role was as Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs in Medtronic until July 2023.
He is as an Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Clinical Trials (University of Galway, Ireland) and an Associate Adjunct Professor in Trinity College Dublin (Regulatory Affairs). John has always had an active interest in the growth and development of the Irish and European Medtech ecosystem.
He also supports the development of the next generation of MedTech professionals and helped develop and review various third level courses for healthcare technologies. He is a graduate of both the University of Galway and the Royal College of Surgeons, RSCI in Dublin.
