John Farragher is a seasoned Irish entrepreneur with over 30 years of global experience and a well-known figure in the contract precision engineering and medical technology sectors.

He has been involved in several successful engineering and medical technology companies throughout his career including Intermed Precision which he founded in 2001 and Cambus Medical which he co-founded in 2006 along with fellow industry veteran Barry Comerford. Both companies experienced significant growth and were subsequently acquired by major market-leading multinational corporations.

Through his advisory work in his roles as consultant and non-executive director, John offers strategic leadership, mentorship, business development, and advisory support to ambitious OEMs and contract manufacturers aiming to scale up in the Medtech and life sciences sectors. By leveraging his extensive industry experience and network, he assists clients in growing, innovating, and meeting customer needs.

John demonstrates expertise in building and leading teams, projects, and businesses, guiding them from start-up stages to achieving market-leading positions within their respective sectors. He excels in establishing and maintaining robust relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients, while effectively identifying and capitalising on emerging opportunities, trends, and needs.

John possesses a technical engineering background, complemented by a Master of Business Administration (General Management), a professional diploma in leadership and management, and has completed a short course on innovation and scaling new ventures at Harvard Business School.
