He also organises international MedTech networking and education events that bring together engineers, healthcare professionals and industry leaders to accelerate collaboration and innovation.

Driven by a passion for disruptive technologies, Damian actively seeks out emerging materials, manufacturing processes, products and services that have the potential to shape the future of medical devices. He is also committed to inspiring the next generation of innovators and medtech personnel through outreach programmes such as "The Seeds of Life Sciences" program which is delivered to schools and universities, encouraging young people to pursue careers in engineering and healthcare.

Today, Damian leads Europe's first dedicated catheter innovation and education facility, created within a beautifully restored 100-year-old pub in rural Ireland. Through Eyedea MedTech Education, his mission is to make world-class catheter design knowledge more accessible, helping organisations and individuals develop the technologies that will improve patient care around the world.
