Albert Dolan is a Fianna Fáil TD for Galway East, elected to Dáil Éireann in 2024 following five years of dedicated service on Galway County Council, where he also held the position of Cathaoirleach. His election to national office reflects his strong local mandate and deep commitment to representing the interests of communities across East Galway.
Albert is a qualified Chartered Accountant and trained with a leading Big 4 firm, bringing a wealth of professional experience and financial acumen to his work as a public representative. He currently serves as Fianna Fáil’s spokesperson for Enterprise and the Circular Economy, where he champions sustainable economic development, support for SMEs, and innovation-led job creation. He also sits on the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee, contributing to the oversight of public expenditure and accountability in government.
Throughout his career in public life, Albert has prioritised rural development, infrastructure, and community wellbeing.
